Long & Winding...

Laar (continued) (again) x 2

As I was in Paris, I went and got some really nice buttons in Le Bon Marché... I'm really hoping that blocking does hide a multitude... did I mention I added a little to the length too? meaning all the more mistakes to hide?

And at last, floating on air as befits Laar!  - did I also mention that 'Laar" means "gentle breeze" in Norwegian?

I'm so glad I stuck with this, because I nearly didn't (know when you get one of those projects?), but this morning it's looking as though both yarn and pattern are proving very forgiving indeed...!

Fair Exchange

Laar (continued) (again)

En route from Madrid to visit family, Jenny came to stay, but I did get around to joining the shoulders. She agreed to model as proof.

Tomorrow And Tomorrow

Laar (continued)

by Gudrun Johnston in Chatham Townhouse Lace - Valentine

The tomorrow mentioned in the last post came and went.   It poured rain and I found that there were many other things to do besides peer through the gloom and fret about only forty-seven stitches where fifty-three should be.  Today is another tomorrow, and the fact I'm seemingly prepared to at least look could be seen as progress, I suppose.
